This week in social studies we watched some videos about Trashing our planet and plastic pollution and how it affects the future earth. And Also We have been studying how we can save the planet and the ocean. We can Stop this by not littering and not using plastic because 10% of all plastics go into the ocean and kill sea animals. We have also been using a happy to broadcast site, which is a news site and what makes it different is that it only shares positive news. For example, Mr beast( A YouTuber) planted 20 million trees. And research shows that the mere sight of an indoor plant can reduce stress and anxiety and improves your sense of well being.
What's a Garbage pouch? Garbage patches are large areas of the ocean where litter, fishing gear, and other debris - known as marine debris - collects. One in the Indian Ocean, two in the Atlantic Ocean, and two in the Pacific Ocean. Garbage patches of varying sizes are located in each gyre.
We have also been studying plastic pollution and how it affects the ocean, and we are also learning about how to stop this. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues, as the rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with them. Plastic pollution is most visible in developing Asian and African nations, where garbage collection systems are often inefficient or nonexistent. But the developed world, especially in countries with low recycling rates, also has trouble properly collecting discarded plastics. Plastic trash has become so ubiquitous it has prompted efforts to write a global treaty negotiated by the United Nations.

We remember what New Zealand and Australian soldiers go through and how hard it was for them and even how some of them passed away during world war 1. The song has a strong theme of shared fear in combat.

It played on ANZAC day on 25th April and its really important because new Zealand and Australian soldiers served their lives for their country.

We remember those first Australians, who joined and fought and died … We remember the fighting First Australians – now – and on every ANZAC Day. The song has the strong theme of shared fear in combat and, afterwards, shared scars and terrors and rejection of the black soldier by the RSL.

1-What's use of spirituals and what they are?
Spirituals are kind of songs that in the past the slaves used it as a way to connect with each other and A spiritual is a type of religious folksong that is most closely associated with the enslavement of African people in the American South. This song suggests escaping in the spring as the days get longer. It also refers to quails which start calling each other in April. The drinking gourd is a water dipper which is a code name for the Big Dipper which points to the Pole Star towards the north. Moss grows on the north side of dead trees, so if the Big Dipper is not visible, dead trees will guide them north.
